Cartel Escape Room | Great Date Night Idea

A Stone Mountain Weekend: Pair the Mountain With an Escape Room

If you live on the Stone Mountain side of DeKalb, weekends usually start with the mountain itself: the trails, the lake and the park. Residents at The Park at Greatstone on Weatherly Drive are just minutes from Stone Mountain Park, and their community blog shares local tips for living in the area.

For the day after a hike, or a rainy Saturday when the trails are out, here’s an indoor adventure up I-285 at the Northlake exit.

Trade the trail for a mission

Mind Busting Escape Rooms runs eight private escape rooms in Tucker. Your group gets 60 minutes to solve its way out of a story, and every game is private, so you only play with your own group.

  • First time? Narco is our most beginner-friendly room.
  • Heist fans: in Trophy Heist, your crew sneaks into a stadium’s locker-room level to steal the championship trophy before kickoff.
  • Serious puzzlers: Isolation, CIA Black Site and Mafia Boss are our three hardest rooms.

Weather-proof and open late

Georgia weather doesn’t always cooperate, and an escape room doesn’t care if it’s raining or 95 degrees. We’re open every day from 11 AM, with late start times until 11:30 PM (11:45 PM on Saturday), so it works for an afternoon plan or a late night out.

Good for families and friends

  • Most rooms have no minimum age and are family-friendly with adult supervision. Cartel is 12 and up.
  • Rooms hold 2 to 10 players (Cartel holds up to 6), and bigger groups can play several rooms at once.
  • Free on-site parking.

Book your room at 2258 Northlake Parkway, Suite 105, Tucker, or call (678) 395-6392.
