East Decatur has no shortage of things to do. Residents at Halo Apartments on East College Avenue have a rooftop pool, coworking space and a one-acre green space on site, and their blog’s guide to family-friendly things to do around Decatur covers everything from Glenlake Park to Fernbank.
When your group wants something different from the usual dinner and drinks, it’s worth a short drive up to the Northlake exit off I-285.
Sixty minutes, one mission
Mind Busting Escape Rooms runs eight private escape rooms in Tucker. Your group gets 60 minutes to solve its way out of a story, and every game is private, so you only ever play with the people you came with.
- Family outing: Narco is our most beginner-friendly room. Most rooms have no minimum age and are family-friendly with adult supervision.
- Friends who love a challenge: Isolation, CIA Black Site and Mafia Boss are our three hardest rooms.
- Something with an edge: in Cartel (12 and up), the team starts chained to the floor of a cartel’s hidden cellar.
Made for groups that work together
Plenty of Decatur residents share coworking spaces, offices and friend groups that are bigger than one room. We host groups of up to 80 across several rooms at once, so a whole team or a group of neighbors can play at the same time and compare escape times afterward. See our team building page for group details.
